Fast food for kids- Wendy's nutrition

Here is the nutrition info for Wendy's kid's meal choices:
Kids meal fries= 210 calories 10 grams of fat
Milk= 100 calories (chocolate 170) 2.5 grams of fat
Small coke= 160 calories
Kids meal hamburger= 220 calories 8 grams of fat
Kids meal cheeseburger= 260 calories 11 grams of fat
Chicken sandwich= 340 calories 15 grams of fat
4 piece nuggets= 190 calories 13 grams of fat
Mandarin oranges= 80 calories 0 grams of fat

So if you want to take your kid to Wendys you can give them a meal of 630 calories (cheeseburger, fries, coke) which is more than half of their daily calorie needs or you can give them a meal of 370 calories (chicken nuggets, oranges, milk) which is much more reasonable.

It's all about making good choices. If we make good choices ourselves we can help our kids to make good choices.

Food for thought.

Worst choice of all:
Baconator triple= 1330 calories 86 grams of fat!!!! Why does anyone need to eat this????

  1. OMG... Baconator triple just sounds disgusting!

    As for the kids stuff - I am always a big Skip the fries person if we HAVE to do fast food. Why does "fast food" have to = "FAT food"?
